KIters and Windsurfers Series
The genesis of my Costal Fairy collection is rooted in my photographic portrait series titled "Kiters and Windsurfers" (2017-2022). Growing up in a family passionate about windsurfing, I had the opportunity to explore various kite and windsurfing destinations. Gradually, I began to capture these heterotopic spaces and their regular visitors: vacationers, tourists, and locals from all over the world, who transformed into members of a contemporary tribe during their visits, adopting their jargon, colourful sports uniforms, and rituals. This series blends fashion photography with sociocultural storytelling.
